We are looking for a talented Principal Software Engineer to join our Engineering team. As the Principal Software Engineer, you will maintain and upgrade all existing software including recommending adjustments to resolve software issues, improving the functionality of existing software, and ensuring that the design, application, and maintenance of software meets the quality standards of the company. You should also be able to mentor, guide, and train other engineers at the team.

What will you do:

• Provide technical guidance in software design and development activities.

• Assist in maintenance and upgrade of existing software applications.

• Participate in design reviews and recommend improvements.

• Provide support in all phases of SDLC and ensure to deliver high-quality products.

• Provide training and mentor other Engineers when required.

• Analyze and troubleshoot application issues in a timely fashion.

• Develop the most effective technical solutions to meet business requirements.

• Work with other Engineers in planning, prioritizing and executing assigned tasks within deadlines.

• Assist in risk assessment and mitigation activities.

• Investigating software-related complaints and making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal software performance.

• Regularly attending team meetings to discuss projects, brainstorm ideas, and put forward solutions to any issues.

• Recommend new technologies to ensure quality and productivity.

• Assist in technical audits and make sure to implement audit recommendations.

What we are looking for:

• Proven work experience as a Principal Software Engineer or similar role

• Experience in a startup, preferably in the crypto industry

• Excellent in Golang or Java, and other programming languages.

• Experience in data modeling in SQL or NoSQL Database

• Has deep knowledge of CI/CD, TDD, Refactor/Rewrite system.

• Experience with Event-Driven Architecture using Kafka, Git Flow and microservices architecture.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to catch minor errors which can result in major problems

• Analytical skills, great interpersonal and communication skills.
